These homes are modified and built in just over three months, then installed on site within just one day. This scheme is contributing to an increasing development towards portable and pocket-sized living spaces for the capital.

Engineering and Planning giants Carl Turner Architects, Arup, and the Building Centre have also collaborated to plan and design the energy-proficient “smart house.”

This project has been produced from two recycled shipping containers, has automatic lights and a voice-activated system.
