Make quartz worktops your kitchen centrepiece

Any kitchen – contemporary, hyper-modern or traditional; urban chic or country cottage style – can invariably be finished off to perfection with quartz worktops. Adding a central kitchen island topped with the same finish as your remaining Caesarstone worktops, for instance, will provide you with a centrepiece your family, friends and neighbours will admire – and perhaps even envy – regardless of whether you live in Windsor, Berkshire or Southend-on-Sea, Essex.

Other materials provided by The Marble Group – which, by the way, serves all areas within both Berkshire and Essex, as well as Hertfordshire and London; Kent and Surrey – include, for example, Silestone worktops, which are available in a wide range of exquisite finishes.

Like all other available materials, these tops come in varying thicknesses; can be cut to any size or shape and – if desired – embellished with grooves in varying styles. To finish them off perfectly, a range of edge details are also available.

Another excellent choice in quartz worktops comes in the shape of Compac worktops. These, too, are ideal for any style of kitchen, and come in a broad range of colours suitable to match any colour scheme.

Installed by the Marble Group’s experienced fitters, all quartz worktops have exceptionally hard-wearing properties. Moisture and stain resistant, these materials are extremely hard and are almost impossible to chip, crack or scratch. They are also heat and frost resistant, although it is recommended to use heat mats for extremely hot items, such as baking trays coming straight out of the oven, for instance.

Maintenance requirements are also virtually non-existent. All that is required to preserve the elegant beauty of these tops for many years to come is the occasional wipe with a damp cloth, using nothing but water and perhaps a mild detergent. Polishing is not necessary and, as the surfaces are permanently sealed due to their resin-content, resealing is also not required.

In short, a combination of high durability, timeless elegance and low maintenance requirements means your quartz worktops will add exceptional, lasting value not only to your kitchen, but to the value of your home in general.
